I am a computational neuroscientist at the Charles University in Prague.

During my bachelor studies of mathematics, I got intriguied by the idea to apply mathematical methods in biology which always attracted me. This interest then lead me via evolutionary game theory, mathematical epidemiology and ecological population models all the way to neuroscience.

The aim of my current research is to infer cortical function from its spontaneous activity and understand the relationship of spontaneously emerging functional states with memory consolidation.
